Young People's 2007 K P Nuts Weekend Away Poem
Then we played hide and seek
Lauren was very good, she didn't make a squeak
Then we went to bed, but not to sleep
This made Louisa weep!
We woke up and went for a jog
And Tash tripped over a log
We gathered for food and everyone was in a grouchy mood
We then spoke about everlasting with Kate
Who is a very good mate
Two of our group did washing up
They washed more than one cup

One of our group played basket-ball
She nearly had a nasty fall
For lunch we rang up `Dominoes'
It's amazing how quickly it goes
We got on the bus again
To go raft-building - after then
We all got a bit of a soak
Cos Rob the Raft broke
We then went high
We were level with the sky
We abseiled down
This made Grace frown
We then came back to base to put on our 70's face
70's was a blast
Just sorry it didn't last
Gareth spoke to us about Charge
This made us realise God was really large.

The food fell off the edge
Then we all went to sleep
You couldn't even hear a peep
Today Recharge was spoken about
Then we sang a song that let us shout out
Now we have to pack away
Which we're really sad to say.
