![]() Knowle Parish Church - the Church of St. John the Baptist, St. Lawrence and St. Anne - was completed and consecrated in 1403. It stands in the heart of the village, next to the Guild house, built in 1412, and the much more recent addition of St. Lawrence House and St. John's Hall.
Deeper - Wider - Further
The aims of the Church are threefold:
- to support, though prayer, action and funding, the work of the Church further a field in ministry and compassion, throughout the UK and overseas

A Chance for our community to support the world's most needy people.
World Vision is a Christian Charity, working internationally in communities where even the essentials of life are missing. Over the past 50 years, it has grown to become one of the world's leading relief and development agencies, with 13,000 staff working in more than 100 counties helping 75 million people in their struggle against daily poverty.
They offer a "catalogue" of fund raising ideas - from a few pounds to immunise a child, buy a harvest pack or provide mosquito nets, to bigger projects to help provide clean water, purchase sewing machines or provide a haven for street children. Even more ambitious projects include homes for Bosnian refugees, HIV/AIDS programmes and educational help.
Whether an individual, part of a village organisation, or business, we invite you to help raise money for World Vision throughout the year.

Over 600 years, the church and community have been closely linked in the development of Knowle as
we know it today.
The thousands who pass through the Church doors every year, create the atmosphere of a Church at
the heart of the community. We want to find ways to extend this community feeling in 2003.
