600 ballons were released to launch the 600th anniversary celebrations at Knowle Parish Church. Each balloon was sponsored, with a prize going to the person whose balloon travels the furthest. Money raised by the event is going to the Christian
charity World Vision to support a meningitis vaccination programme in Niger.
