Two great historic mission agencies are now one!

A new Community
On 1 February 2010, the Church Mission Society and the South American Mission Society became a united new CMS – a community of mission service that will benefit from the rich history of both societies’ work in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
As a new community, CMS is still committed to evangelistic mission, working to see our world transformed by the love of Jesus.  Read more on the CMS website: www.cms-uk.org

A new Promise
CMS Members have recently renewed their promises of commitment to mission – sharing the love of Jesus, through the seven promises of the CMS Community:
I want my life to be about mission
I believe God is still working in this world
Mission isn’t someone else’s job, it’s mine
I want to live for Jesus every day
I realise I need fuel for my journey
I want to help my local Christian community keep mission a priority
I want to regularly renew my mind and spirit

The full version of the promises can be found on the CMS website – have a look and perhaps you may want to be part of this, too: www.cms-uk.org/GetInvolved/Membership
