our church group
for school years 3 & 4

What we do
Gener8 meets on a Sunday in Knowle Junior School during the 9.15am service.

The Sunday programme consists of an exciting mix of games, drinks, Bible teaching and small group discussion.
Gener8 is based on three important values:
Gener8 is God centred
Gener8 is Bible based
Gener8 is Age targeted

 During the Autumn term our Sunday programme is following three different themes using material produced by the Willow Creek Association.

In The Bible: Survive and Conquer, we will be learning how the Bible can help us in life. This will be followed by Contact, when we will look at the attributes of God. And finally we will end the term with God's Unstoppable Love, when we will be looking at the Christmas story.

We also run the following children's groups throughout the week  
Hobby Club - a craft based club, Tuesdays 3.20 - 4.45pm
ReGener8 Play - A lively holiday club style group, Wednesdays 3.50 - 5.00pm
ReGener8 Pause - A quieter group, chance to chill, pray and explore the Bible, Thursdays 4 -5pm

Summer DVD's and Picnics - Wednesdays 4th August, 18th August and 1st September 12.30 in the Guild House.
All DVD's Cert U, bring a picnic and enjoy the film. Friends very welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout.

Gener8 Sleepover - A chance to gel as a group at the start of the year, 8pm Friday 10th September - 8.30am Saturday 11th September
in St John's Hall. Cost £5



A re-run of the last few year's successful camps for those entering Reson8 in September in school years 5-6. Cost will be £60 or only £50 for early bookings before July 18th.


9.15 service information
Children and young people will stay in church for the first 15 minutes of the service before going to their groups. The service should be finished by 10.15am; one reason for this is to enable children and young people to go on to the various sporting activities that take place on a Sunday morning. However to enable Initi8, Gener8 and Reson8 to continue using their current material and to give you a more peaceful cup of coffee, these groups will finish at 10.30. Should your child need to be collected consistently at 10.15 to allow them to go on to a sporting activity please can you return the slip below to the children's team and we will have them ready for you.
