The bells are rung to welcome people to Sunday Services and at Weddings. The ringers meet every Monday night.


 Choir
The choir leads the 11.15am and 6.30pm services.  There is both a junior choir and  a senior choir. They meet weekly on a Thursday night to practise.

Where new believers can discover, in a relaxed atmosphere, the basics of faith through a mix of personal Bible reading, group discussion and prayer.

The Flower Guild decorate the Church for Sunday Services and also do flower arrangements for Weddings and Festivals (Harvest, Christmas, Easter) etc.

A group of men which meets seven times a year for supper, a talk, discussion and fellowship on the 2nd Monday of the month.

A group that offers friendship and fellowship.  There are coffee mornings, lunches, outings, talks etc.  
When: Coffee on 1st & 3rd Thursday, Members Lunches on 2nd and 4th  Thursday of each month.

A club for children (aged 7-11) to take part in various art & craft activities. Meets during term time on a Tuesday.

Small groups which meet every two weeks. They are an excellent way to explore the Bible's truth with the help of other Christians.  A way to grow in prayer and provide support and encouragement.

A youth group for school years 7-9.  Games, trips, Bible teaching where appropriate.   Meets Thursday evenings during term time.

Aimed at young people in school years 10 - 13.  Social events, cell groups and prayer.  Meets evenings during term time.

Promote the well-being of families worldwide.  Meet monthly  for a short time of worship followed by a talk and fellowship.

Tuition in half-hour sessions for 4-10 year olds, Wednesdays and Fridays after school in St John's Hall.

 Music Group
The music band leads the 9.30am Services and the 2nd Sunday @ 8pm.  The music group leads the 6.30pm Services.

 New Horizon
An in-depth Bible study group which  meets in the daytime on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

 Phoenix Group
Provides support to those caring for people with learning difficulties. Meets once a month on a Wednesday during term-time.

 Prayer in the Waiting Room
An early morning opportunity to pray for the life of the Church.  Thursday between 6.45am and 7.30am in St John's small hall.  Tea, coffee and toast served 7.30am.

 Quality Time
Two hours of uninterrupted lunch and informal discussion re life/parenting issues.  Meets monthly starting in September.  (Crèche provided.)

A safe, fun-filled environment for pre-school children and their parents/carers.
When: Three sessions on Tuesdays lasting 1½ hours each.

 Renaissance
A support group for those who are separated or divorced, which meets on the last Monday of the month in the evening.

 Small discussion groups on Christianity for 8-10 year olds after school at varying times.

 St Anne's Drama Group
Welcomes all ages who are interested in drama and movement.  It presents plays and sketches as part of the worship of the church, particularly at festivals.

Special K is a Christian based group of men and women, who are either single, separated, divorced or widowed, and meet as a group for Sunday lunch once a month and attend a variety of social events throughout the year.

A pre-school group that prepares children for entry into Nursery School. Meets 3 times per week in term time.
