I’ve now been back home in Solihull since the end of November and have been SO busy both working at a local jewellers to raise some more funds for India and also visiting friends and family and Christmas and everything! I expect you have also been busy!
It has been great though to get to spend time back home with my family and seeing friends. Just to remind you, I am going to Kolkata, India with Rebekah McMaster from Northern Ireland to work with street children among other projects and Becky and I are both getting really excited to go; we leave in just under two weeks now! Our flight is on the 11th of January direct from Heathrow to Kolkata!
The rest of our time at Wetheringsett Manor went amazingly quickly and we were all very sad to leave it, Suffolk had become something of a second home for us I think! We learnt a lot there about our God, His master plan and about ourselves as well and I loved getting to know everyone else on the team as well as the staff who were so welcoming and friendly and helpful to us, we really became like a huge, although slightly strange family!
I will have to wait until I get to Kolkata to find out exactly what our living arrangements will be and how often I can keep in touch but I will keep you in my thoughts until I can let you know what its like. I have been in contact with some of the people we will be working and living with and they sound absolutely lovely and I can’t wait to meet them!
Christmas was brilliant; we had the whole extended family here for Boxing Day as well as my grandparents and a friend from America come to stay with us over the holiday. For New Years some of the GAP team are meeting up in London to say goodbye before we all head off to various corners of the world in the first two weeks of January.

 thank God again for His provision in great friendships with the other GAPers, staff, friends and family who are supporting me and for such an amazing opportunity to go to India preparation for going to Kolkata will go well and I will not forget vital things safe and smooth travel visas to be granted I hope you had a great Christmas and enjoyed catching up with relatives and friends!
