Light Sound and Vision

“TREASURES OF THE CHURCH”
Preparations are under way for bringing 600 years of Faith & Prayer to life in sound, light and vision.
One scene, depicted by this photograph shows St Lawrence, one of the church's patrons, offering the Roman Emperor the “treasures of the church” - not what the emperor expected & St Lawrence is said to have been griddled for this act.
Today's technology brings to life, through video, computer graphics, narration and drama, the last six hundred years of Knowle Church.
If you would like to be involved, do contact Margaret Fulford on 01564-772617, or Heather Wright, at the Parish Office, on 779123.

Vicar entertains 250 children

Revd and Mrs Hatton invite about 250 children to the Vicarage grounds for their traditional summer tea and sports.  Here some of the children are seen walking from the church to the Vicarage on Stripes Hill where they were `all delighted with the day's enjoyment'.
