Rainbow Tots is a parent and toddlers group run by volunteers who aim to provide a creative and fun filled environment for preschool aged children and parents/ carers. We meet on Tuesday in term time in St. John's Hall at the back of Knowle Parish Church. There are three sessions as follows:

Session 1 9.30- 10.55am Session 2 11.05- 12.30pm Session 3 1.00- 2.25pm

There are a variety of activities for the children including craft, ride-on toys, climbing frame, play dough and puzzles and many more, as well as a time for singing and celebrating special occasions such as birthdays. Refreshments are available for adults and children during sessions. There is a library of books, cassettes and videos available for loan free of charge for members.

A monthly puppet show that consists of story, song, prayer and craft activity. Aimed at pre-school children and their parents/ carers. Stories are based on a bible story or moral “issue” such as friendship, caring for others, being truthful. The audience are invited to bring a picnic and we provide the drinks. Contact Janet Train:

Is a pre-school playgroup run by qualified staff and regularly inspected by Social services (and Ofsted click link to read report). It runs three days a week for children aged 2.5 to 4 years from 9.15am to 11.45am, and afternoon sessions 12.15 - 2.45pm. It has recently achieve accreditation by the Pre-School Learning Alliance.
