Zap Club
Zap Club is a youth group at St George's Church, Newtown which a group from Manna are heavily involved in. The youth group has only two female leaders from St George's with few resources and funds to draw on.
The club has a maximum of 20 at the moment, with ages ranging from 5 to 15. This is itself is a matter for prayer: to provide activities which accommodate all of the ages at one time is very difficult. Pray for the Manna team as they organize Zap Club on alternate weeks, that they will be able to successfully communicate and lead activities that everyone will enjoy.
There are many things that we can thank God for in relation to Newtown. Money has already been raised through fundraising efforts of Manna, and there is enough to provide new equipment and materials.
